I'm Ready to Talk  I’m Ready to Talk: Vietnam Vets Preserve Their Stories

I’m Ready to Talk covers 160+ personal stories from members of the Atlanta Vietnam Veterans Business Association who answered our nation’s call to fight in Vietnam between 1959 and 1975. Stories come from all branches of our military and cover the war from the DMZ to the Delta, and those who served in the waters of the South China Sea and flew from bases in surrounding countries.

Stories cover the tapestry of the Vietnam War experience. There is no better way to learn about the Vietnam war than through the eyes of those Americans who answered our country’s call to duty. After fifty years of being silent, Vietnam vets are ready to talk – and this book will open your eyes to the kaleidoscope of their experiences.

Presumption of Death

In this stunning novel, premonitions or gut feelings-the inherent knowing without rational basis-play a starring role. Lynn Conley, a litigation paralegal, experiences this phenomenon recurrently. Visions of accidents and murders invade her mind far too often, creating chaos in her life. Sheri Noland, a young lawyer waiting for the results of her bar exam, is shaken by her husband’s recent behavior. Terrified by a conversation overheard at a party, she seeks the advice of a psychic. The old woman warns Sheri not to go home. But disbelieving, Sheri signs her own death warrant when she opens her front door. When Lynn’s computer monitor goes blank, she thinks it is malfunctioning. On the screen she sees a young woman bound and gagged. She watches with apprehension hoping the vision will go away. The hopelessness Lynn sees in the woman’s eyes stirs a feeling deep within her soul that she does not understand. A week later, Lynn sees the woman’s face on the evening news. Sheri Noland has been abducted from her home in a small town northeast of Atlanta. Lynn’s prophetic visions continue, as horrifying pieces of the puzzle converge with Sheri’s voice guiding her. Lynn’s home is ransacked and she receives threatening telephone calls, but she cannot quit.

The Perfect Coffee Table Book!

Personally Endorsed by David Moxley, CEO America’s Web Radio

Rosie Sandifer documents the evolution of the artist’s career as both painter and sculptor, from painting portraits, genre, and landscape to sculpting tabletop and public monuments. The painting collection includes pastels, watercolors, acrylics, and oils, and depicts her ventures throughout the American West as well as international travels. Her sculptures have narrative qualities and can be viewed at installations nationally.

I have to add my 2 cents in that I have known Rosie since the fourth grade. She was quite an artist then and developed her sculpturing skills which I would see when visiting Texas A&M and Rosie’s Oil field Roughneck beside the petroleum building. She is a beautiful lady and so very talented you’ll love looking at each page and so will your guests.

Rather than a catalog of Sandifer’s figures, this book includes the stories behind the sculptures–why they were created and their unique installations. Sandifer’s life-size and monumental clay originals and the works in progress in her studio and at the foundry are displayed, and the clay-to-bronze process is described step-by-step.
