Rewind back to 1958 – at just 14-years-old, David Moxley began his career in radio and his love for it has only grown. In April of 2005, David presented Radio Sandy Springs to the world in small town Sandy Springs, Georgia. He envisioned an ‘Oldies’ station at first, but quickly realized the intense competition he had. David made the executive decision to introduce a chat radio station online and rename it America’s Web Radio, which hosts a variety of interesting and entertaining programs to a new and growing market.
What is chat radio? Not to be confused with talk radio, chat radio is limited to individual programs where a host speaks for an hour, as opposed to several hours. Relying on mostly newcomers to the radio industry, the programming has seen changes over the years. Yet, some shows like the Classic Car Show, have been on the air since day one.
America’s Web Radio resides in a suite of studios that, with the help of a number of computers and talented folks, makes it possible to run with the big boys. We are continually surprised at the flood of emails received from listeners, on a national and global level, praising our hosts and programming! Our unique take on welcoming a host to talk about something important to them keeps things exciting. America’s Web Radio is an advocate for a number of causes, from elderly abuse to honoring our servicemen and women, and all points in between.
We are ALWAYS looking for new hosts, ideas for shows, and most definitely sponsors! If you are a devoted listener and have a particular program you enjoy, consider becoming a sponsor. America’s Web Radio greatly appreciates each one of our listeners since we couldn’t do this without you. As the saying goes, “stay tuned for more.”
